Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo in the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was made by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to play rehearsals. Silk featured in a number of commercials when she was a kid. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. After she had converted to Judaism and they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good information that she was pregnant on the set of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its popularity on social media has grown to a huge online fan base.
