Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actress. Her most well-known work is her starring role as Martha Hanson on the FX period-set spy drama The Americans, for which she was praised by critics and received was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the year 2017. In addition, she starred as Bette & Joan on the Ryan Murphy Limited Series Feud. Wright who was adopted by her parents, was born Sunderland in the year 1976.
