Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines is a Florida native, born September 21, 1965, in Miami Beach to Rosemary (Graham), whose parents were James Hines and Rosemary (Graham). She was raised in Tallahassee. She went to West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from University of Central Florida. She was a theater and TV production, but it was not until after she relocated to Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd really learned anything about comedy. Lisa Kudrow, her first instructor at the Groundlings Theater was an amazing instructor. She learned to improvise and sketch comedy. This experience helped make her ready for the character of Larry David's spouse on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue on the situation comedy is entirely improvised and she's comfortable. Groundlings Theater is where she performs. Groundlings Theater is the place where she can perform when her schedule can allow.
